The concept

At the Sueco Cookery School we aim to offer a fresh approach to cooking with exciting cookery courses that emphasise “hands on” involvement, quality ingredients and inspirational teaching. Our intention is to get you to touch, smell and taste food using your hands as the prime tool. The school is informal with the cookery courses putting emphasis on superfresh ingredients that are cooked simply and deliciously. Set in our commercial outside catering kitchens, the Sueco Cookery School will provide you with fundamental cookery techniques and methods that can be applied whether you’re working in a professional kitchen or entertaining at home. You will each have a work section including preparation area, chopping board, portable gas hobs and other essential equipment!

The course leaders and teaching assistants will impart enthusiasm and a long lasting love of quality food and ingredients. Whatever your level of skill, if cooking is your passion our classes will take you to new levels. We are able to offer a range of courses, savoury or sweet and feel we can cater for all tastes. Let us know what you would like to learn and we shall tailor make a class around your ideas. If you would like to learn with  private tuition within your home or with a group of friends, please ask. Relaxed, informal, flexible but still professional are the key ingredients of the Sueco cookery school.

So if you would like to come with a group of friends and  have a unique birthday party, or ready steady cook competition, then please do not hesitate to get in touch. The Cookery School is also ideal for corporate events such as team building, sports and social nights or a reward for your staff. 

Group bookings within our production kitchens require a minimum of ten and we are limited to a maximum of sixteen.
